FREITAG. BUT ITS MONDAY.

Went to an photo-exhibition today, and wondered of into the neighboring exhibition where Freitag was showing their latest collection.

For the first time in my life: I WANT A FREITAG BAG SO BAD. No longer does one have to look like a bike messenger or a "I-am-not-very-active-or-sporty-so-I-am-making-it-up-with-having-a-Freitag-bag"-hipster. Or as Freitag themselves put it:

"Since 1993 FREITAG has been manufacturing bags inspired by messengers riding on wheels. Now we turn to those messengers writing on paper. After all, messenger comes from message; and today, the media are the horse that carries him. A new chapter in the FREITAG book. The new cover story for the FREITAG press. A collection of 16 horse-messenger inspired bags and accessories for medialites and urbanites."

Now, I just need to find €300 under a rock and buy one.

BAUBIKE

Biking have never interested me. Bikes have never interested me. Bike design... is something boring with photoshop renderings and bright colours.

Until now. Except for the shy swastika references, it is just as the name implies: A Bauhaus bike!

Read more about it and its designer Michael Ubbesen Jakobsen here.

THE GOOGLE MAPS TRICYCLE

"One of the more fascinating bikes we saw on CargoCycling was the Google Map Tricycle, loaded up with all of their GPS and camera equipment, designed to capture Google Street View footage in areas where cars aren't allowed."

You can run, but you cant hide, from the Google Maps Trycycle! Muhahaha!
